Audrey Sharer Obituary
Audrey Ann Sharer, 82, of Wellington died Monday, February 8, 2016. On September 6, 1933, Audrey was born in West Deer Township, PA to the late James and Margaret (nee James) Turner.
For many years Audrey worked as a switchboard operator for Allen Hospital. She was also employed by GEICO. Audrey attended the First Baptist Church in Wellington. One of her favorite pastimes was league bowling at Strikeout Lanes in Wellington.
Audrey is survived by her grandson, Russell (Jamie) Guy Sharer III; great granddaughter, Emma Donielle Sharer and many nieces and nephews, including recent caregiver, Gayle Schmitt. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Russell Guy Sharer II and her siblings, James Turner, Peg Garn and Phyllis Bouch.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 10 from 11:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. Pastor Jeremy Peck will officiate the service. Audrey will be buried in the Mt. Airy Cemetery in Natrona Heights, PA. donations in Audrey's memory may be directed to the Wellington First Baptist Church, 125 Grand Ave, Wellington, OH 44090.
