Bonnie Lorraine Witbeck

Bonnie Lorraine Witbeck, 83, formerly of Wellington, died Saturday, June 23, 2018. Born on January 6, 1935, in Belfry, KY, she was the daughter of the late Hi and Eloise May (nee Runyon) Smith. After graduating from High School, Bonnie left Belfry and moved to Wellington where she raised her family with her former husband, Carl Witbeck.

Bonnie worked as a clerk at the FAA Credit Union in Oberlin for several years and was an antique dealer in Medina at the Antique Mall. She was a member of the Wellington First United Methodist Church. Bonnie was an avid reader and volunteered at the Wellington library. She loved growing flowers in her garden and was proud to share them. Above all she was a devoted mother and cherished her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children Carl Gregory (Doug Drafts) Witbeck, of Cincinnati; Christy Louise (Gary) Young, of Chesterland; and Lorrie (Thomas) Frawley, of Marrietta. Grandchildren include Jessica Lauren and Maxwell Tyler Young and Matthew Thomas, Lauren Christine , and Alexandra Lorraine Frawley.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, June 28, from 5-7pm and Friday, June 29, from 10-11am with services immediately following at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington, 44090.
