David Stiles Obituary
David L. Stiles, 78, of Wellington, died Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at his home with his wife by his side. Born on August 16, 1938 in Morgantown WV, he was the son of the late Carl and Marna (nee Watts) Stiles.
After high school David joined the United States Air Force, serving for 22 years as a security police officer. While in the Air Force he met fellow airman Sandy Lower, whom he later married. He was stationed and able to travel all over the world and eventually retired as a Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Air Force David worked for the Postal Service in Grafton as a rural carrier and retired in 2004. David was a wonderful cook and especially enjoyed baking. He also liked to travel to and attend Amish Country auctions.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 56 years, Sandy; children Keith (Trish) Stiles, of Castle Rock, CO, and Sharon Schumann, of Longmont, CO; sister-in-law Clancy Stiles of CO. He was preceded in death by his twin brother Donald.
Memories of David will be shared daily by those who knew and loved him but no formal service will be held.
