Deborah J. Randleman, lifelong resident of Lorain passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain. She was 64. Deborah was born February 9, 1951, daughter of the late Macceo Blakely and Dorothy Blakely-Atkinson.
She graduated from Admiral King High School in 1969 and worked for Kmart and retired from TJ Maxx. An avid supporter and volunteer with Voices for Children, she also volunteered for various children's services groups.
Deborah cherished her grandchildren and visiting family, she loved traveling, casinos, bus trips, shopping and socializing.
She will be sadly missed by her sons, William C. (Brian) Shorts, Macceo Shorts and Julian Randleman all of Lorain; stepdaughter, Loreatha Robin White; grandchildren, Ava, Michael, Mariah and Brandon; brothers, Lamont (Rhonda) Blakely, Andrew (Brenda) Blakely and Victor (Georgia) Blakely; sister, Arlene (James) White; foster brother, Wes Ricks and brother-in-law, Edward (Patricia) Randleman.
In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Claven; grandson, Julius and brother, Macceo Blakely.
In keeping with Deborah's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Eastman Funeral Home in New London assisted the family with arrangements.
