Donald Joseph "Don" Namoski, 70, of Sullivan, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2014. He was born in North Royalton on May 23, 1944 to the late Anna (nee Pioweer) and Joseph Namoski. Don moved from North Royalton to Brunswick with his family, where he spent the early part of his life. He then moved to Sullivan in the 1970's.
Don was retired from MTD and was very involved in many organizations. He enjoyed being a member of the Ashland and Wellington Eagles, the Medina Moose, VFW and American Legion and was also the president of the UAW. An avid collector, Don loved going to auctions and finding new items to bring home and enjoy. He also loved working on cars and spending time with his dogs.
Don is survived by his wife of 32 years, Bobbie (nee Willoughby) Namoski; daughter, Donna (Jeff) Curtice of Brunswick; step children, Jeanie Machor of Elyria, Matt Holt of Vermilion, and Michael Holt of Alaska; nine grandchildren; and siblings, Richard Namoski and Arlene Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Ann Marie Namoski and Nancy Ann Luf.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday.
