Donald Gene Strinka, 79, of Wellington died July 4th, 2018 at home, surrounded by family. Born January 24th, 1939 Elyria, Ohio. Graduated Clearview HS, 1957. Married Twila Dennison, 1969. Retired from CSX Railroad after 44 years. Don was an avid golfer & bowler. Member of Wellington Eagles Aerie 2051 and drove for Wellington Senior Citizens bus.
He is survived by his wife Twila; brother Jack(Cindy) Strinka; daughter Kelly Tattersall, sons; Donald (Karen) Strinka Jr., William(Kim), Kenneth(Patricia) Baumhardt. Grandchildren; Dorothy(Allen) Bragg, Annie (Shannon) Hoch, Adam(Cassandra), Andrew, Abbey (Steven Easton) Baumhardt, Joseph, Sarah, Nathan Strinka, Zachary, Haven Tattersall. Great grandchildren; Jacob Baumhardt, Gage, Mercedes, Briena Bragg, Madison, Makenna Hoch. 1 "double" great grandchild; Jaeda Pryor. Preceeded in death by parents; John and Josephine (Tokarczyk) Strinka, sister; Mary Louise, infant grandson; Wayne Baumhardt.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, July 15th at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington, Visitation 1p.m. Services 2p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wellington Senior Bus, 115 Willard Memorial Sq.
