Edelmira Hileman Obituary
Edelmira Hileman, 89, formerly of Canonsburg PA, died Tuesday, April 14, 2015. She was born on October 11, 1925 in San Juan Puerto Rico to the late Encarnacion and Margaret (nee Sera) Tavarez. Edelmira moved to Canonsburg in 1946 and lived most of her life in that area.
Edelmira worked for RCA and for General Electric for many years, she also worked in a local hardware store. She was a member of Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Canonsburg. Edelmira enjoyed to knit and to crochet.
Survivors include her daughter, Miriam (David) Levin of Wellington; grandchildren, Stephen and Michael Levin and Allison Broadwater; great granddaughter, McKenzie Levin; brother, Raymond Tavarez of FL and sisters, Teresa and Margaret of Puerto Rico. Edelmira was preceded in death by her husband Vernon, one brother and four sisters.
