Edith Twining Obituary
Edith M. Twining, 86, of Wellington, died Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Allen Medical Center in Oberlin. She was born on January 25, 1928 to the late Blanche (nee Greetham) and Otto Radcliffe.
Edith worked as a custodian for Wellington Schools for many years. She was a member of the United Church of Huntington and the former Huntington Grange, where she was active with the food booth at the fair.
In her later years, Edith enjoyed playing Bingo and engaging in the social activities at the Elms. Reading gave her great joy; she couldn't seem to get her hands on enough books.
Survivors include her son, Art (Robin) Twining, of Wellington; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; son, Ed Twining; brother, Shorty Radcliffe and sisters, Ruth and Alberta.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, December 20 from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington. Condolences may be expressed at: www.norton-eastmanfuneralhome.com.
