Elizabeth Baechle Obituary

Elizabeth M. Baechle, 88, of LaGrange, died Friday, September 22, 2017 at keystone Pointe in LaGrange. Born on September 2, 1929 in Berea, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Sophie (nee Dombrowski) Pick. Elizabeth and her family moved to the LaGrange area in the mid 60's.

Elizabeth was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her family and they will remember her delicious meals. She also enjoyed traveling when she was able.

Survivors include her children Edna Trimble, of Wakeman, Jeanine Turton, of Chicago, Mary Harris, of New London, Laura Axford, of Wakeman, Kathy Poling, of LaGrange, and Rick Baechle, of Maine; 19 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a brother Raymond Pick. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her loving husband Richard in 2002, an infant daughter Barbara, granddaughter Jessica Poling, great grandson Alexander Decatur, and her brothers Clarence and Willard Pick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, September 26, at 11 a.m. at our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 708 Erie Street, Grafton, 44044 Calling hours will begin one hour prior to Mass at the church. Burial will take place at The Assumption of Mary Catholic Cemetery in Brookpark. Condolences may be expressed online at www.norton-eastmanfuneralhome.com.
