Esther Norton Obituary
Esther May (nee Mull) Norton, 88, of Wellington, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 after a short illness. She was born on August 10, 1929 to the late George and Mildred (nee Mohrman) Mull.
Esther enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, cooking, and working on puzzles. She was a member of theWoman's Relief Corp Hamlin #28, Women's Fellowship and the National Needle Point Guild. Esther worked for the Village of Wellington for 10 years.
Survivors include her children, Dale (Cindy) Norton, of Elyria, George (Cindy) Norton, Charles (Sherry) Norton, Perry (Sharon) Norton and Martha Shreves all of Wellington; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and her sister Lois Longbrake. Esther was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Herman; son -in-law Guy Shreves; and brothers Richard, Ernie, and Frank
Visitation will be held, Monday from 3-7 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral services beginning at 11 a.m. at the Pittsfield Community Church, 17026 State Rt 58, Wellington. Pastor Jonathan Chetham will officiate and burial will follow at Pittsfield East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to the Pittsfield community church.
