Haskell Gayheart Obituary

Haskell Gayheart passed away after a 3 month illness at the age of 83, on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at his home in Tiro. He was born on August 26, 1934 in Orkney, Kentucky and moved to Ohio in 1957. Haskell was the son of the late Milford and Julia Emilia (nee Henderson) Gayheart.

He served in the U.S. Air Force. Haskell worked at Sheller Globe, later Mayflower and Motor Panels, retiring after 33 years.

Haskell loved his children, grandchildren and family. He enjoyed gardening and working with tools.

Haskell was the beloved father to Cynthia (Carlos) Rodriguez of Willard, Royce (Carol Jewell) Gayheart of Mansfield and Steve (Loucinda) Gayheart of Willard; grandchildren, Samantha, Christina, Leah Rose, Nicolas, Josh, Lucas, Ryan and Matthew; numerous great-grandchildren; 1 sister and 5 brothers.

In addition to his parents, and wife Wilma, he was preceded in death by a son, Haskell Shawn Gayheart, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

The visitation for Haskell will be held at Ripley Chapel, 4230 Old State Road, Willard on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 2-8 pm where a service will be held on Friday at 11 am with Pastor Ricky Branham and Harvey Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in Mt Hope Cemetery, Shiloh.
