Helen Biddinger Obituary
Helen Louise Biddinger passed away at the age of 90, on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at her home in Nova. She was born on May 30, 1927 at home in Ashland County, Ohio, daughter of the late James and Mabel (Ramels) Wells.
Helen graduated in 1945 from Nova High School. She was the postmaster in Nova and worked for the post office for 30 years.
She was a member of the Troy Township Fire Department Auxiliary in Nova.
Helen enjoyed traveling with her late husband Harold. Together they shared many memories of their trips to Florida.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Biddinger of South Amherst; daughter-in-law, Gloria Biddinger of Norwalk; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and sisters, Marilyn (Duane) McBride of Jeromesville and Linda (George) Given of Nova.
In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by her son, Gary Biddinger and siblings, Dorothy, John, William, Patricia, Kenneth and Robert.
The visitation for Helen will be held at Eastman Funeral Home in New London from 1 pm until the 2 pm service on Saturday, June 10, 2017 with Pastor Richard Leseganich officiating. Her interment will follow at the Nova Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Helen's honor can be given to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
