Ione June Jordan

Ione June Jordan, 90, died on June 7, 2017 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange. She was the daughter of the late Grant S. and Gladys (nee Rhodes) Williams and was born on June 7, 1927 in Dunn County, Wisconsin. Ione was a 1945 graduate of Boyceville High School. She has been a Wellington resident since 1947.
An active member of the United Methodist Church of Wellington, Ione taught Sunday School for many years. She enjoyed baking and canning, cherished her doll collection, and was always helpful with her grandkids.
Survivors include her sons, Gary (Ann) Jordan , Leslie (Joyce) Jordan, and Jeffery Jordan; Daughter-in-law, Sandra Jordan; grandchildren, Robin (Ivan) Belleville, Jeremy Jordan, Amy (Michael) Sword, Robert (Wendy) Jordan, Miranda (Frank) Quintana, Matthew Jordan, Megan (Doug) Birchfield and Michele (Aaron) Davison; 17 great grandchildren and one expected great grandchild and sister, Delores Compeau.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Robert Junior Jordan; sons, Dennis Carroll Jordan and Kevin Lee Jordan; Daughter-in-law, Joyce Jordan; siblings, Lorraine Leibke, Teresa Larson, Darrell Williams, Grantie Williams, Merlin Williams, and twin sister, Leone Schultz and great granddaughter, Adaline Mae Birchfield.
Friends and family will be received on Sunday, June 11 from 4-7 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington where Funeral Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Paul Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
