Jean Reep Obituary

Jean Elizabeth Reep, of Norwalk formerly of Clarksfield, passed away late Thursday evening, June 11, 2015 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk surrounded by her loving children. She was 82.

Born on February 28, 1933, in Clarksfield Township, daughter to the late Clarence and Irene (Rounds) Daniels.

She retired from her position as the Huron County Dog Warden after serving for many years.

Jean enjoyed wintering in Florida, camping, going to garage sales and playing bingo. She also enjoyed spending her time working on ceramics, painting, crocheting and canning.

Jean is survived by her children, Mary (Don Brant) Reep of Wakeman, Dan (Anna) Reep of Wakeman, John (Sharon) Reep of Wakeman and Larry (Jan) Reep of Seville; grandchildren, Brenda (Marc) Carruthers, Brandi (Corey) Case, Brian (Stefanie) Reep, Jacob (Junnifer) Reep and Brad (Jamie) Reep; 9 great grandchildren and sister, Bonnie (Harold) Rounds Smith of Colorado Springs, CO.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard F. Reep and sister, Ruth Timbs.

Jean's family will greet friends from 3-6 pm Sunday, June 14th at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London where a service will be held 11 am Monday with Pastor Brian Ayers officiating. Burial will follow in Clarksfield Methodist Cemetery.
