Jody Fairchild Obituary
Jody Fairchild, of New Paris, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Foundation in New Paris. She was 49 years old.
She was born October 30, 1966, in Norwalk and lived in New London until Jody moved to New Paris in 1999. Jody attended Christie Lane Schools in Norwalk.
Jody was a former member of the First Baptist Church in New London.
She is survived by her half sister, Debbie Bassler; half brother, Ronnie Hales and step brother, Robert Coffin. In addition to her siblings, she is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Chet (Pam) Fairchild of Wakeman, Gladys (Andrew) Luxon of Norwalk, Virginia Fazenbaker of Norwalk and Agnes "Midge" (Harold) Skiver of Napoleon, Ohio and several cousins. Jody was preceded in death by her father, William "Bill" Fairchild; mother, Helen (nee Clark) Smith; step mother, Mary Ann Fairchild; half brothers, Bobby Hales and Tommy Adkins; grandparents, Burdell and Esther M. Fairchild and Buford and Frances Clark and her great grandparents, Lyle and Katie Knapp.
The family will greet friends from 10 am until the 12 pm service on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Eastman Funeral Home, New London with Pastor Doug Lang officiating. Burial will follow in Wakeman Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Jody to Rainbow Babies and Children Hospital, 11100 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44106 or to Christie Lane, 306 South Norwalk Road West, Norwalk, Ohio 44857.
