Kathy Lee Phelps

Kathy Lee Phelps, 58, of Ashland, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at MedCentral Health System in Mansfield. She was born on January 9, 1956, in New London. Kathy grew up on the family farm in Ruggles and has lived in the Savannah area most of her life.

She graduated from Mapleton High School in 1974 and worked at Archway in Ashland for over 30 years and was a waitress.

Kathy was a member of the Ruggles Church. She enjoyed canning and gardening. Kathy loved her dog, Moe and spending time with her family and friends, especially her granddaughter Tara.

Kathy leaves behind her husband, Bruce; son, Dustin Phelps of Ashland; granddaughter, Tara Woodyard; mother, Jeanette Ringler of Ruggles; siblings, Kenneth (Melanie) Ringler of Sullivan and Amy (William) Gannon of Ashland; numerous nieces and nephews; her dog, Moe and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Max Ringler, brother, Bradley Ringler and grandparents, Cort and Helen Ringler and Theresa Farley.

Her family will greet friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2014 at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London where a service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Martin Daly presiding.
