Kerry E. Edwards

Kerry E. Edwards, 66, of Wellington, passed away June 3, 2017 at the Elm's Retirement Village. Born on May 17, 1951, he was the son of Charles and Eleanor Mae (nee Crawford) Edwards. Kerry graduated from Wellington High School in 1969 and joined the Army in 1970 where he proudly served his country. He had a passion for music and was involved in many bands as a bass player and also sang. Kerry had worked for Harshaw Chemicals and Englehard before retiring. Kerry loved his family dearly and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Survivors include his children; Saun Howard, of Wellington, and Bryan Edwards of Amherst, grandchildren; Raven and Bishop Howard and Chase & Christian Edwards, Siblings; Lacy Wheeler, Anita Egirski, Gary Edwards and Cheryl Cossey. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth (nee Rittenhouse) Edwards, infant sister; Ellen Edwards, Debbie Wilson and Karen Thompson.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 11-1 at Perfecting Of The Saints Tabernacle Church in Brighton, 22910 State Route 511 South. A celebration of life will follow from 3-7 at the VFW Post 6941 in Wellington, 207 North Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the family for funeral costs.
