Linda McConnell Obituary
Linda Sue McConnell, 51, of Wellington, died Friday, August 22, 2014 at her home. She was born on October 6, 1962 in Berea to Nancy (nee Hinds) Tallon. Linda grew up in the Cleveland area, attending John Marshall High School, then Berea briefly before moving to Wellington with her family. She graduated from Wellington High School in 1980.
Linda worked as a customer service representative for Precision/North Coast Bearings. A beloved grandmother, Linda cherished every moment she got to spend with her grandson, Charles. Linda was eagerly awaiting the birth of her second grandchild. She was an enthusiastic softball fan and enjoyed being involved with North Coast Spirit Softball. Linda was also a dedicated Girl Scout leader.
Linda is survived by her husband of 22 years, Byron McConnell; daughters, Nycole Hampton of Chicago and Callie (John) Martin of Elyria; grandson, Charles Martin; her mother, Nancy and step-father, Ken Tallon; and her grand-fur-kid Maizy.
