Marian Kies Obituary
Marian Loise Kies, 83, a graduate and lifelong resident of Wellington, died January 4, 2017 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange. She was born on January 21, 1933 in Wellington to the late Carl Sr. and Blanch (nee Auble) Crapo.
Marion worked most recently at Dairy Queen in Wellington and had previously worked at the Coffee Shop and gift shop in town. She also worked for the Ciba Corning Cafeteria and the Fashion Shop. Marian enjoyed many things including visiting Amish Country, bowling and spending time with her friends and family. In her younger years she enjoyed roller skating and working in her yard. She was a dedicated and hard worker in all aspects of her life
Marian is survived by her children Sandy (Ken) Dalton, of Grafton, and William (Jane) Kies, of North Ridgeville her brother Carl (Jenny) Crapo Jr. of Wellington; grandchildren Megan (Travis) Chapman, of Onaway MI, Ashley (James) McAusland, and Sarah Kies, both of Wellington, Stephanie Bacskay of Elyria, Eric (Jill) Dalton, of Fort Meyers FL, and Brett (Susy) Dalton, of Youngstown; and 6 great-grandchildren whom she cherished.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St. Wellington, from 1 p.m. until the time of services beginning at 2 p.m. Fr.
