Mark Lloyd Schmauch

Mark L. Schmauch, 64, passed away suddenly Friday January 23, 2015 at CNC University hospital in Charlotte, NC. Mark was born on May 23, 1950 in Elyria, Ohio. He graduated at Keystone High School in 1968. Mark graduated in 1983 at Polaris Vocational School with a Toolmaker Degree. He later became a manager and he was very successful.

Mark loved spending time with his family, traveling, and, playing with his grandchildren. He loved animals and cars. He was a wonderful husband, father and, papa.

Mark married Barbara Schmauch (nee Bidlake) on April 8, 1972. Mark is survived by his wife Barbara of 42 years of marriage, daughters, Jill Ann Sheparovich (Michael), Julie Ann Capell (Damien), Jodi Ann Quiroz (David) and son, Brian (Erin), and sister Carol Squire. He is survived by his nine grandchildren, Megan, Ethan, Evan, Charles, Raquel, Isabella, Abigail, Alex, and Will.

He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Schmauch, mother Tressie Schmauch (nee Nixon), brother, Timothy Schmauch, and sister Connie Schmauch.

Family will receive friends 1 to 3 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M., Friday January 30, 2015, at the Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington. Burial will be on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Wellington Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests those who wish may make a donation to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
