Mary Ellen Somerville

Mary Ellen (nee Wigal) Somerville, 80, of LaGrange, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at her home. She was born in Beech Bottom, West Virginia, on December 5, 1933 to the late Helen (nee Cawthon) and Herman Wigal and was a graduate of Wellsburg High School.

Mary Ellen retired from Inservco in LaGrange and attended Faith Christian Church in Spencer. She enjoyed quilting with the Penfield Quilters and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Mary Ellen is survived by her children, Carol (Dean) Duelley and Ellen Reaser, both of LaGrange, and Gary (Tiffany) Somerville of Westerville; grandchildren, Brian Duelley, Karla Duelley, Audrey Reaser, Joshua Reaser, Leah Somerville, and Natalie Somerville; three great grandchildren; and her brother, David (Rita) Wigal of Steubenville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Somerville and sister, Audrey Somerville.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, October 3, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington, and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services beginning at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of LaGrange, 200 Church Street, 44050, with Pastor Thomas Keller officiating.
