Michael Hluszti Obituary

Michael J. Hluszti Sr., 83, of Wellington, was called into God's tender care on Sunday, October 16, 2016 as his loving family sat by his side. He was born on April 28, 1933 in Poland PA to the late Florian and Catherine (nee Provoznik) Hluszti. Michael proudly served his country in the United State Air Force. After his time in the service he moved to the Wellington area.

A lineman for Alltel Telephone Co. Michael retired after 40 years. He also worked as a Charter Captain out of Port Clinton for 30 years. Michael was an avid outdoors man and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a member of St Patrick Catholic Church in Wellington. Michael will be remembered for his kindness, he was big hearted and often put others before himself. His door was always open and he found great joy in entertaining friends and family, especially making sure they were well fed. Most of all Michael cherished time spent with his family.

Survivors include his loving wife of 59 year Marian (nee Yourkvitch); children Michael (Laura) Hluszti Jr., of Wellington, Mary (Curtis) Anderson, of Wellington, Mark Hluszti, of Wellington, Michelle Viets (Mark Cannella), of Grafton, and Leah Hluszti, of Wellington; grandchildren Nicole Ahmed, Brittney and Rebecca Anderson, Melanie and Christal Hluszti, Miranda and Matthew Bush; great grandson Dakota Ahmed; sisters Marie Begovich and Shirley Milush. Michael was preceded in death by 6 sisters and 1 brother and his granddaughter Christina Hluszti.

A memorial Mass will take place on Friday, October 21, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 512 North Main St. Wellington, 44090, beginning at 11 a.m. with Rev David Trask officiating.
