Myrtle Christine Given, 83, of Wellington, died Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at home after a long illness. Born on January 6, 1934, she was the daughter of the late James Sage and Pearl (nee Youngless) Anney. Myrtle was a graduate of Wellington High School and lived most of her life in the Wellington area.
Myrtle worked for the Whirlaway Corp. for several years. She was a member of the Wellington VFW Auxiliary and the Eagles Auxiliary. Myrtle enjoyed bowling and taking trips to Cleveland to visit the casinos.
Survivors include her husband Carlon "Mac" Given; children Scott (Linda) and Steve (Lisa) Trager both of Wellington, Jeff and Lisa Moraco both of Florida, Carl (Sherry) Given of, Wellington, Dan Given, of Newport News, VA, and Susan Colley, of Wellington; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings Jim Sage, Joe Anney, JoAnn Langford, and Lillian Smith. Myrtle was preceded in death by her first Husband Tom Trager, and sisters Ann Glendenning and Karen Mitchell.
