Timothy R. Buckley, 60, of New London, died Monday, June 29, 2015 at his home. He was born May 11, 1955, in Lorain and grew up in Vermilion.
He was a Teamster/truck driver for E&L Transport and Cassens Transport. Timothy was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Broome-Wood Post 292, Eagles and NRA.
Timothy enjoyed fishing, golfing, squirrel hunting, turkey shoots and riding motorcycles. He was a mechanic that loved working on cars and motorcycles and friends referred to him as the "shade tree mechanic".
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Deborah (Large) Buckley; children, Tammy Buckley, Janie Aires, Melissa Felker, Carl Balduff, Theodore Durr and Anthony Durr; 10 grandchildren; stepfather, Henry Black; and siblings, Kenneth Fellenstein and Sharon Rahr and stepbrother, Brian Black. Timothy was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Black; father, Jim Buckley; daughter, Jeannie; grandson, Michael; brothers, Michael and Wayne Fellenstein and half-brother, Jim Buckley, Jr.
His family will greet friends 2-4 pm Thursday, July 2nd at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London. Memorial contributions may be given to the family in care of Eastman Funeral Home.
