Wendy May McConnell (nee Steiner), 39, of Lodi, died unexpectedly April 6, 2017 at Lodi Hospital.
She was born October 11, 1977, in Cleveland to the late Robert and Marsha (nee Featherstone) Steiner.
Wendy was a 1996 graduate of Black River High School. She later attended the Medina County Career Center for cosmetology, and had spent a good part of her life in the Sullivan area.
Wendy was a strong, beautiful woman, who cherished her family, and enjoyed being a mom. She was a great cook, loved music, decorating, and flowers. She had an eye for fashion, and a great sense of style. She was talented with cosmetics, and was also a very good athlete at one time. There wasn't much she couldn't do.
Wendy was a sales representative for Premier Custom Flooring, and had previously worked at Gerwig's White Barn Market in Ashland.
She is survived, and will be missed by her children, Gweneth, Ashley and Nicholas McConnell; husband, Todd; siblings, Ron, Brenda (John), Debbie, Paul, Bill and Bob; nieces, Nicole, Jennifer, Emily, Allison, Christal, Madelyn, Liberty and Hallie and nephews, Jamison, Colton and Brayden.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother Tom.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 11, from 4-7 pm at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington where a funeral will be held on Wednesday at 11 am with burial to follow in Huntington Township Cemetery.
