Corey S. Henning, 33, of Bellevue, died unexpectedly at home of natural causes on Friday, July 26, 2019. He was the son of Ann-Marie (Brant) Kerr and the late Jeff Henning.
Corey was a 2004 EHOVE and Bellevue High School graduate and worked in manufacturing in the Bellevue area. He loved fishing with his best friend Adam Osborn. Corey's joy was joking around and making people laugh. He had the biggest, softest heart for his family and friends but above all he deeply loved his boys Leelan and Logan.
Survivors include his mother, Ann-Marie Kerr; sons, Leelan and Logan Henning, siblings, Katelyn (Scott) Ellis, Brian Wilcox, and Nicole Henning, and the love of his life Mackenzie Schmerge; uncles, Rick and Bill Henning, John (Jodi) Brant and Scott Brant; niece, Sevannah Hartley; nephew Brantley Ellis and cousins Ally, Madison and Lenah Brant and several beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his father, Jeff, Corey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melba (James) Alford and Gerald Brant Jr. and William and Luann Henning.
Visitation will be from 5 pm to the time of the 6 pm service on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W Main St, Norwalk, OH 44857 with Pastor Ken Hiser officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, 105 West Shoreline Drive, Sandusky, 44870.
