Donald Terry Oney, 68, of Greenwich, Ohio, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018, at Mansfield General Hospital.
He was born on August 5, 1950, to the late John and Ella (Cole) Oney in New London, Ohio.
He was a 1968 graduate of New London High School and was a lifetime resident of Greenwich. He was employed with R.R. Donnelley for over 30 years before his retirement.
He was an avid sports fan for his grandchildren, and you could always find him cheering them on. Terry loved to camp with his wife and friends, building many wonderful memories. Terry loved to build things, where you could always find him in his shop working on his next creative project. He also loved politics and was previously a member of the Greenwich Village council.
Terry is survived by his wife of 49 years Becky; daughter, Angie Oney of Norwalk; son, Richard (Chris) Oney of North Fairfield; grandchildren, Travis, Alex, John, Steven, and Zack; great-grandchildren, Carter, Malachi, McKayla, Isaiah, Aurellia, and Silas; along with siblings, David, Lonnie, Clyde, Jimmy, Tammy Parlett and Cathy Amburgy. He is also survived by his 3 loving dogs that never left his side; Jasmine, Baby, and Sassy.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings; Roger, Wayne, Connie, Lois Jones, and Janice Rowe.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main Street, Greenwich where services will be held on Wednesday beginning at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery.
