Glenna Sue Fannin, 70, of New London, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on July 20, 2019. She was born on April 6, 1949 in New London to the late Johnny and Vannie (Kidd) Damron and spent most of her life in the area.
Sue enjoyed being home, loved her family, and cherished time spent with her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She never missed an opportunity to share in the excitement of her children and grandchildren’s hunting adventures, or trail camera pictures. When she was able she also liked to crochet. Sue was a member of the New London Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Brian Fannin, David (Cheryl) Fannin, Eddie (Tammy) Fannin and Tonda Sowder; grandchildren, Brian and Lena Fannin, Josh and Jacob Fannin, Julia (Adam) Goodsite, Jordan and Alex Fannin and Joseph Sowder; siblings, Betty Krumholtz, Glen Damron, Virginia Case, William Damron and Vanie Burkett; she is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband Eddie; brother, James Damron and sister Kathy Harvey.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 4-7 pm at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W Main St, New London, where a service will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 11 am with Evangelist Charles Mead to officiate. Burial will follow in Grove Street Cemetery. Memorial donations if desired may be directed to Eastman Funeral Home in care of the family.
