Jack Patton Jr, 66, of Ashland, died Friday, October 4, 2019 at Samaritan Medical Center. Born on May 24, 1953 in New London, he was the son of the late Andrew “Jack” and Dollie (nee Harvey) Patton.
Jack worked as a carpenter but was truly a jack of all trades who enjoyed solving problems and could fix just about anything. He enjoyed tending to his garden and flowers and fishing. Jack was a talented musician, playing guitar in numerous bands. He will be remembered for the time spent with friends an family sitting around pickin and grinnin.
Survivors include his children Amie (Benjamin) Mutti, of Lexington, Jennifer (Christopher) Jansen, of Olmsted Twp, Hollie Ann Patton McGuire, of Lorain, and Jacob (Lana) Williams Patton, of Stanwood WA; 13 grandchildren; siblings Bobby Jean (Ruby) Patton, of New London, Goldie Goble, of Clyde, J.B. (Constance) Patton, of Akron, and Lawrence “Dan” (Mary) Patton, of New London. Jack was preceded in death by brother Gary, an infant sister, and brother-in-law Clifford Goble.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, October 10, from 12 p.m. until the time of services beginning at 2 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St, New London, 44851.
