Norwalk, Ohio -Joylyn Guyton-Fessenden, 72, passed away July 26, 2019, in Bellevue Care Center, Bellevue, Ohio. She was born to the late Edward E. and Anna E. (Szekely) Oppliger on August 25, 1946 in Norwalk, Ohio and has lived in the local area all of her life. Joylyn graduated from Milan High School and enjoyed dancing (which is how she met her husband), going to the lake, baking, catering, visiting Amish country, playing pinochle, and she loved her coffee and ice cream. She especially cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joylyn is survived by her loving husband of nearly 30 years, John E. Fessenden of Norwalk, Ohio; by her children, Brenda (Scott) Bond, Tammy Blevins, Bruce (Amy) Fessenden, Tracy (Jay) Dunham, Keith Fessenden, Sonya Guyton, Jerry Fessenden, Paul Fessenden, and Cheryl (Frank) Stieber. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Edward L. Opplinger; by her grandchildren, Matthew Stieber, Jessica Wright and Tiffany Fessenden and great grandchild, Gavin Wright. Friends may call on Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. in Walker-Eastman Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St. Norwalk, Ohio.
