Kathleen Susan Leak

Kathleen Susan Leak, age 70, of New London, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2019 at Fisher Titus Medical Center in Norwalk.  She was born on December 24, 1948 in Norwalk to the late Edward and Helen (Sylvester) Richtarsik. 

Kathy was a 1966 “Trucker” graduate of Norwalk High School.  She was a dedicated secretary for over 47 years with Norwalk Concrete Industries.   Kathy loved her pets, enjoyed painting, cooking, fishing, taking trips, and gambling with her husband Mike.

Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years Mike Leak; mother-in-law, Jean Leak; sisters-in-law, Terri (Herb) Snyder, Lorri Shane and Kathy Richtarsik and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph; brother-in-law, Jon Leak, and father-in-law, Phil Leak.

Visitation will be Monday, September 9, 2019 from 11 am until the time of the 2 pm service at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W Main St, Norwalk.  Burial will follow in Saint Paul Catholic Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Huron County Humane Society, 246 Woodlawn Ave, Norwalk, OH 44857 or Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.  Online expressions of sympathy may be made by visiting www.walkereastmanheydingerfh.com
