Mary Charlotte Thompson, 77, of Greenwich, died Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky. She was born April 2, 1942 in Fallsburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Johnie Lee and Lillian (Sexton) Taylor. She had lived in Greenwich since 1959 and recently had spent some time living in West Virginia and Kentucky. Mary had worked at Midwest Industries, was a school bus driver with South Central Schools in the late 1980’s, at Mickey Mart and was a caregiver for family for many years. She was a member of the Greenwich Baptist Church. Mary loved her family, fishing, frogging, cooking and gardening.
Mary is survived by her children, Tim (Tia) Collins, Sandy (Mark) Oney, John (Tammy) Music, Melissa (Matt) Wireman; 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; her siblings, Joyce Castle, Denver Taylor, Martha Meek; her very special companion, Eddie Collins. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Music, her second husband, Lawrence Thompson, 2 brothers, Harold and Johnie B. Taylor.
Friends and family will be received from 3 – 7 p.m., Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Shiloh Pentecostal Church of God, 117 Baseline Rd., Greenwich and Monday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Wireman officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
