Norwalk, Ohio – Susan J. Klein, 71, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in Fisher Titus Medical Center. She was born to the late Cordelia M. (Seith) and Edward J. Grambo on February 26, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio. Susan moved to Collins, Ohio at age 3 and graduated from Western Reserve High School in 1966, she earned a double major in biology and art from Bluffton University, graduating in 1970. Susan was self-employed at Smoky Ridge Farm as a horse trainer and riding instructor, as well as a long-time owner, exhibitor and breeder of American Saddlebred, Morgan, and Arabian horses. She was also a florist at Foodtown in Norwalk, Ohio. Susan was a member of the National and Ohio American Saddlebred Association, and donated her time as a 4-H advisor for many years. She was an avid gardener and loved growing orchids. She enjoyed reading, cooking, crafts and especially spending time with her family. Susan is survived by her children, Karen R. (Jason) Lawrence of Norwalk, Ohio, and Terry (Anna) Klein of Sandusky, Ohio. By her grandchildren, Alyssa, Eden, and Kyle, and by her good friends, Beth, Julie, Jeanne, and Barb. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband, of 45 years, Lewis E. Klein in 2017. Friends may call on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St. Norwalk, Ohio 44857.
