David G. Robertson, 74, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at Ohio State University Hospital. He was born to the late Max H. and Elizabeth J. (Barnes) Robertson on March 13, 1945 in Montclair New Jersey.  He was a graduate of Norwalk High School, and he served in the United States Marine Corps.  David was a former employee of Hug Construction, Oglesby Construction, and he retired in 2007 from Smith Paving.  After retiring, he worked as a groundskeeper for Sycamore Hills Golf Course.  He was a member of Ken Bur Bell American Legion Post 41 in Norwalk, Ohio. Dave enjoyed golf, playing cards, taking care of his truck, and those who knew him well, knew that he was a practical joker, and he loved his family.  He is survived by his daughters, Jillian (Thomas) Benadum of Columbus, Ohio, and Karlee (Bob) Lukasko of Norwalk, Ohio, by his sister, Barbara Thomas of Mansfield, Ohio, and by his grandchildren, Nora Benadum, and Liam Lukasko. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Kathryn S. (Tinker) Robertson in 2004.  Friends may call on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St. Norwalk, Ohio 44857, where services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at 11:00 a.m.  Pastor Rich Forman of Norwalk Baptist Church will officiate.
