Gabe Goodman Obituary
Gabe A. Goodman, 33, of New London, died Saturday morning, June 24, 2017 at home. Born on May 24, 1984, he was the son of Sharon (nee Harvey) and the late Dennis Goodman. Gabe was a lifelong New London resident and graduated from high school in 2002. He most recently was working for Fireland's Lawn and Landscaping.
While in high school Gabe played basketball and golf, lettering in both sports. He collected and enjoyed Nike Air Jordan shoes. Gabe also enjoyed Ford Mustangs. He found his niche in lawn care and landscaping and had thought about starting his own lawn care business. Spending time outdoors extended beyond yard work, Gabe also liked to ride dirt bikes and 4 wheelers.
Survivors include his mother, Sharon Goodman, of New London; brother, Matt (Jen) Goodman, of Lorain; niece, Brenna and nephew Logan; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Gabe was preceded in death by his father Dennis; grandparents, Harold and Anna Goodman and Webster and Virginia Harvey and uncle, Dale and aunt, Chris.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 4-6 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main, New London. A private family burial will take place at Grove Street Cemetery, New London.
