Jack Brock Obituary
Jack E. Brock Sr, 70, of New London went home to be with the Lord on July 12, 2017.
He was born in Bell County, Kentucky on January 28, 1947 to the late Mitchel and Lula (Cox) Brock.
Jack loved working, using his CB radios and building things, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He retired from Maple City Rubber on July 1, 2014.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by an infant son, Jack E. Brock, Jr. and his siblings, Clarence, Zack, William, George, Mitchel Jr., John, Elijah, Henry, Nellie, Mary Ellen, Fannie, Mary, Rachel, Sarah and Lucy.
Jack is survived by his wife of 50 years, Phyllis Sue (Wireman) Brock; daughters, Tami (Scott) Nightengale, Vada (Eber Overly) Brock and Deborah (Steve) Pounds; son, Terry Brock; grandchildren, Shane Nightengale, Anthony (Tabi) Nightengale, Joseph (Samantha) Nightengale, Patrick Pounds, Lula Pounds and Hannah Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Alayna, Campbell, Hayden, Kayleeana, Anthony II., Zoey and Charlene and his dear brothers, Jim and Homer Brock. He is also survived by Valerie Tetrick and Jamie Case who have been like children to him and "Momma Brock".
His family will greet friends on Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 1 pm until the time of service at 3pm at Eastman Funeral Home, New London. Burial will follow in Fitchville Cemetery.
