James A. Bohaty

James A. Bohaty, 92, of Wellington, died Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the Elms Retirement Village. Born on April 28, 1926, he was the son of the late Anthony and Helen (nee Muzik) Bohaty. James was a graduate of West Tech High School. He lived most of his life in Parma before moving to Wellington.

James enlisted and proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. He worked for Westvaco in Cleveland. James enjoyed the outdoors especially spending time in his garden. He collected old records and enjoyed listening to many styles of music. He also liked to watch westerns. Most of all James cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his sons, Russell (Sharon) Bohaty, and Kevin (Sharon) Bohaty; grandchildren Kristin, Michael, Amanda, Chelsea, and Rachel; and great-granddaughter Kaylee. James was preceded in death by his wife Irene Margaret Bohaty.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, October 13, at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St, Wellington, from 9 a.m. until the time of services beginning at 11 a.m. burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Cleveland. condolences may be expressed online at www.norton-eastmanfuneralhome.com.
