Juanita Kinzer Obituary
Juanita Mae Kinzer, 85, of Avon Lake, Ohio, formerly of New London, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2018 at Main Street Care Center in Avon Lake.
Juanita was born on December 3, 1933 in Pike County, Ohio to the late Joseph F. and Dorothy (nee Bailey) Adams. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School in Ross County in 1951 and moved to New London in 1952. Juanita worked in the office at the former CE Ward Company for 7 years, before beginning her banking career with New London Savings and Loan in 1966 and later National City Bank from which she retired as an assistant vice president in 1991.
Juanita enjoyed cooking, especially for others, as well as dining out with friends. She loved telling jokes, Wal-Mart trips and Westerns.
She is survived by her children, Kimberly S. (Kurt) Wilson of Sheffield Lake, Ohio and Julie L. Fries of Denver, Colorado; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and her brother Thomas F. Gardner.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Kinzer; brothers, Walter Adams, Joseph Adams Jr, Robert Adams, William Adams; sisters, Barbara Coe, Betty Pence, Shelby Pence, Mary Lou Hatfield, and Frances Williams.
A private graveside burial was held and a memorial service is being planned for sometime during Mother's Day weekend in the park in New London. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed towards, New Life Hospice, 5255 North Abbe Rd, Elyria, OH 44035.
