Stella Shaver Obituary
Stella E. Shaver, 70, of New London, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2018 at Fisher Titus Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 10, 1948 in Morehead, Kentucky to the late Grover Britton and Polly (nee Wallace) Jennings.
Stella moved to New London when she was 18 and spent her life in the New London area. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Stella was an all around "good person". She was wonderful with children and she cherished time supporting her children, grandchildren and great children in all their pursuits and extra curricular activities.
Stella is survived by her husband and companion of nearly 50 years, Edward "Eddie" Shaver; their children, Terry Shaver and Tina (Troy) Goosetree of New London; stepchildren, Barb Faylor of Plymouth, Steve (Regina) Shaver of Shelby, Jim (Jeni) Shaver of Willard; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Sue (Jack) Lay of KY, Jewell Jennings of KY, Virginia Mcpheron of FL, Kathy Mcpheron of OH and Clarence Jennings of OH.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Hobert and Richard Jennings and Larry Mcpheron.
A public visitation will be held for Stella at Eastman Funeral Home in New London from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. A private family graveside service will take place later on in Grove Street Cemetery, New London, Ohio.
Memorial donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, 4509 State Route 162, New London, Ohio 44851.
