Timothy Daniel Sexton, 26, of Sullivan, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 5, 2018, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on June 24, 1992 to Shirley (nee Weber) and William Sexton in Medina, Ohio.
He was a 2010 graduate of Black River High School. He was working for Total Wrecking & Environmental LLC in Jacksonville, Florida as a torch burner. Previously, he spent many years working for Charter Steel in Cleveland, OH as an unloader. He enjoyed playing and watching baseball, boxing, but most importantly spending time with his family, friends, and especially his two year old son, Coy.
Tim was hard working, lovable, charismatic, but most of all, family oriented. His smile could light up a room and his laugh was contagious to all those that were around him. He loved to play hard, but more importantly he loved harder. Tim loved his parents, siblings, friends, and the love of his life, Paige, but most of all his 2-year-old son, Coy. The day he held his son for the first time, he knew he wanted to be the best person he could be for his son. He loved to spend as much time as he could with Coy. Tim enjoyed watching football and playing in the water with him, reading him books, cuddling before bedtime and teaching him to play baseball. He was an amazing father who strived to work hard in order to always provide a good life for his family. He was excited for the new journey that Paige and their son had ahead of them. He loved them both so much and wanted more than anything to build a beautiful life together. Tim was so loyal to his family, friends and anyone who had been blessed to have met him. He is loved by many people and will continue to be loved and missed very much.
Tim is survived by his parents, Shirley and Bill Sexton; the love of his life, Paige Wallace; son, Coy Robert; siblings, Tiffany (Andrew), Tyler (Payton), Travis, and Trent; aunts, Jewell, Annie, Shelly (Dave), Yvonne (Ken), Denise (Dan) and Shawna; uncles, Daniel (Leslie), Matthew (Andrea), Dennis, Matthew (Diane), Jim (Sharon), Robert (Lois), many cousins and a nephew.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Annie; maternal grandparents, Walter and Sonya; uncle, Allen, and aunt, Jeannine. Tim is now reunited in heaven with friends, Tyler McLean, Neil Jones and Kegan Copperman.
Family and friends will gather on Monday, August 13, 2018 from 4-8pm at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main Street, Wellington, Ohio where services will be held on Tuesday, August 14 at 11am. Burial will follow at Huntington Cemetery with a luncheon after.
