Tyson McKinley Obituary

Tyson Joel McKinley, 15, a lifelong resident of Wellington, died Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Born on January 20, 2002, he is the beloved son of Janell (nee Hilliker) and Kenneth McKinley. He was a freshman at Wellington High School.

Tyson was an active and outgoing young man, he was an active member of the Wellington First Baptist youth, was on the Dukes Jr High Cross Country and Wrestling teams as well as a member of the Honors Choir and 4-H. He enjoyed giving his time and resources to help others, mowing the neighbor's lawn and volunteering with his youth group or just buying a small gift to show he cared. He also enjoyed computers and video games. Tyson will be remembered as a smart and compassionate person by those who knew and loved him.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving parents Janell and Kenneth McKinley; sisters Kaitlyn and Audrey; grandparents Don and Glenda Hilliker and Debbie and Glenn Roderick; great grandfather Homer Dalton; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at the Wellington First Baptist Church, 125 Grand Ave, Wellington, 44090, where services will be held on Sunday beginning at 2 p.m. Pastor Jeremy Peck will officiate.
