Adelbert "Bert" M. Marquard, 74, of Oberlin, passed away on Monday, June 29 2015, at Lutheran Home in Westlake. He was born on October 26, 1940, in Cleveland, to the late Bertha "Dolly" (nee Wagner) and Adelbert Marquard, Sr. Bert grew up in West Park and later moved to the Parma area and then moved to Oberlin 10 years ago. Bert was the plant manager at Peterson Nut Company, where he worked for 10 years. He was also a semi truck driver for Century lines for 18 years. He loved his jobs and enjoyed going to work. Bert was also an avid exerciser and liked to ride his bike. Bert is survived by his son Michael (Elaine) Marquard of Fairview Park, grandchildren Julia and Jordan; great-granddaughter Brooklyn; and a brother Ken (Toni) Marquard of Rocky River. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice, and a brother Marc. Friends and Family will gather on Monday, July 6, 2015, at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington, 44090, beginning at 11 a.m. until the time of service beginning at 12 p.m. Fr.
