Adolph F. Rech, 81, died Saturday, January 17, 2009 at his home in Wellington. Born in Clearwater Beach, FL on July 29, 1927, Adolph was the son of the late William and Louise (nee Hienrich) Rech. Adolph lived in Sandusky for many years before moving to Wellington in 1984. He was a Sandusky High School graduate.
Adolph worked at the Union Chain, Philco and the Lower Lake Docks, all in Sandusky. In 1987, he retired from the Ford Motor Company Plant in Sandusky after working 25 years as a stationary engineer. Adolph was a member of the Sandusky Masonic Lodge. He loved going to Jamie's Flea Market and enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mae; three children, Timothy Rech of Columbus, Diana (Steve) Arnold of Fishers, Indiana and Lisa (Jerry) Kolb of Wellington; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Adolph was preceded in death by his daughter, Sally Rotsinger; a grandson, Lance Kolb and his sister, Elizabeth Dimwiddie.
Adolph will be cremated and no services will be held.
