Adrianne J. (Wetzel) Payne, 66, of Lorain and formerly of Wellington, died on August 15, 2019 at home.  She was born on June 15, 1953 in Washington DC to the late Robert W. and Phyllis G. (Harshbarger) Wetzel.  An Altoona (PA) High School grad, Adrianne went on to obtain a degree from LCCC in Early Childhood Education.

Adrianne loved fishing, camping and the outdoors, and enjoyed painting, shopping, 4H, animals, especially horses, and cherished time spent with her grandchildren.  She attended a number of area churches, was a Girl Scout leader, was involved in the fair and was a member of the Wooster and Medina Eagles.  At one time she served as a secretary for the Wellington First Congregational Church.

Survivors include her children, Christine Gregory and Theresa and Robert Payne; grandchildren, Dustin, Thomas, Michael, Joseph, Jeffrey, Tovah and Timothy; sister, Pamela Wetzel; and great grandchildren, Lily, Riley, Natalie, Piper and one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Kevin and Robin.

A private family memorial service is being planned.  Norton-Eastman Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
