Aleen C. Dillman, 79, of Norwalk, passed away on January 19, 2025, at Norwalk Memorial Home. Born on July 23, 1945, in Berlin Heights, she was the daughter of the late Earbert and Lida (nee Wallace) Castle.

Aleen worked as a Nurses Aide at the Milan Villa Nursing Home. Aleen enjoyed going shopping, going for rides, and spending time with her kids and grandkids. Her kitchen was where she felt most at home, creating delicious meals from whatever ingredients she had on hand. Whether it was a Sunday family dinner or a spontaneous family gathering, her culinary skills were unmatched, and her dishes were always a labor of love.

Survivors include her children, Mathew Dillman and Patty Dillman; her grandchildren, Danny, Brandon, Vern, Paula, Amber, Jennica, Sabrina, and Shaunte; her great-grandchildren, Mason, Arien, Milo, Noah, Jack, Amaya, Cameron, Klementine, Karmello; her sisters, Racheal, Peggy, and Donna.

Aleen was preceded in death by her parents, Earbert and Lida Castle; her husband, Francis Dillman; brothers, Harold, Roy, and Earl; sisters, Joyce, Opal, Ethel, her son, Jason Dillman; and daughter, Lela Stafford.
