Alice K. Bacon passed away with grace and dignity at the age of 90, on Monday, March 26, 2018 in Columbus,Ohio. She was born on May 3, 1927, in Boston, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Jay and Kathryn (nee Stone) Kent. She was a 1945 graduate of Lakewood High School, and a 1949 graduate of Western College in Oxford, Ohio. Alice married Clyde Stewart Bacon on June 3, 1950 at Lakewood Congregational Church. The two of them were Co-Owners of Bacon Chevrolet for 38 years. Alice was the student activity adviser, along with being very active with the PTO and Music Boosters at South Central Local Schools for several years. Through many years of life experiences her life motto had become "Que sera, sera." Alice was a beloved mother to Kent Stewart Bacon and Linnette Torbet, Randolph Stone Bacon (Suzanne) and Elizabeth Cary Bacon Ludban (William); 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Stanley Bacon. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, April 5, from 4-6 PM, with a memorial service starting at 6 PM at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main Street, Greenwich; Clark Hunter officiating. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to South Central Local Schools, The American Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald House or to the donors favorite charity.
