Allison Kerr, age 41, formerly of Avon, died in her sleep of natural causes on August 9, 2010. She was born on August 20, 1968 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Judith Hoffman Kerr of Nova, Ohio and Dewey Kerr of Bay View, Ohio. Allison had been living in Scottsdale, AZ for the past 4 years and had lived in the Atlanta area for several years prior to that. She graduated in 1986 from Avon High School. Allison also attended Bowling Green State University and Cleveland State University. Allison is survived by her parents and sisters, Lisa Kerr (James Cherry) of Frederick, Maryland and Jennifer (Joe) Oliver of Ashland, Ohio; one nephew, Colton Oliver and two nieces, Audrey Oliver and Ava Cherry; great grandmother, Elizabeth Hoffman of Edgewater, Florida; and many cousins, aunts and uncles. She also leaves behind her two dogs Bobby and Girl that are rescued Greyhound dogs. The family will greet friends and family on Sunday, September 5, 2010 from 1-3 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London, Ohio.
