Obituary

Amelita "Amy" Van Natta passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at MetroHealth Medical Center following a brief illness.

Amy was born June 29, 1956, in Cadiz City, Philippines to Carlos and Amalia (Revalez) Doreza.

Amy was a very kind and giving person. She always looked for ways to help others and never asked or expected anything in return. Amy had a very infectious smile which was the first sign of her loving personality. She was a patient wife, amazing mother, skilled cook and loved animals, especially, Otis, the family dog. Amy was a strong person and even maintained her beautiful smile in the Intensive Care Unit. She passed on her strength to her family, whom will need it now more than ever. Amy was the heart of her family and will be greatly missed.

Amy is survived by her mother, Amalia Doreza; 2 loving children, Carlo (Searah) Van Natta of Norwalk and Brittany (Andrew) Kulakowski of Massachusetts; grandchild, Alexander and one more on the way; 7 siblings and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives.

Amy was preceded in death by her father, Carlos Doreza; husband, Jeffrey Van Natta, whom passed in 2016 and a son, Joseph Van Natta.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021, from 10 am until the time of funeral service at 12 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857.
