Andrew Walko, 81, of Wellington, died at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange on Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Born on March 8, 1929 in Avon to the late John and Eva Walko, Andrew grew up in the Penfield area and graduated from Penfield Schools. He was a farmer all his life, along with hauling milk for over 30 years. Andrew was very active with the LaGrange Lions Club and Hot Stove for a number of years. He also enjoyed bowling and was on a couple different leagues. Andrew took care of the Penfield Cemetery for many years. He enjoyed his great grandchildren also. Survivors include daughters, Andrea (Carl) Hammond, of Elyria and Barb Johnson, of LaPorte; grandchildren, Rebecca Reaser, Terra Bichimer and Tonya Reed and great grandchildren, Alexa Bichimer, Virginia and Gabriella Reaser, and Drew Reaser. He is also survived by sisters, Helen Walko and Betty Moss and brothers, John and Willie Walko. Andrew was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jeannette in 2010; sisters, Anna and Mary and brothers, William, Mike, Harry, Frank and Pete. Friends will be received from 2 ' 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 27 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Penfield Cemetery.
