Andy Hanshaw, age 43, of Greenwich, died Friday, June 17, 2011 at his home. He was born July 5, 1967, in Mansfield, Ohio. Andy grew up in Adario and had lived in Greenwich since 1986. He was a 1986 graduate of Crestview High School. He was a supervisor at Johnson Brothers in Greenwich. He also worked for the Greenwich Twp. as an employee and zoning inspector. He was a volunteer fireman for the Tri-Community Joint Fire Dept. for 15 years. Andy enjoyed gardening and cooking. His family referred to him as Betty Crocker. He enjoyed helping anyone and everyone with whatever they needed. Andy also enjoyed helping and spending time with his best friend Wally Leber on his farm. He is survived by his children, Robert, Adam, Heath and Heather Hanshaw all of Greenwich; his mother, Marsha (Bob) Palm of Shiloh, his father, Tim Hanshaw of Mansfield; his siblings, Scott (Rose) Hanshaw of Greenwich, Tim (Tiffany) Hanshaw, Meredith Hanshaw all of Shelby, Michelle (Mike) Lybarger of Mansfield. Friends may call from 2 ' 4 and 6 ' 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow at Ninevah Cemetery, Greenwich. Memorials may be given to the family in care of the funeral home.
